Years 1 and 2: Class 3, Class 4 and Class 5

Welcome to Year 1 & 2
We are the class teachers: Miss Law (Class 3), Mr Fitzsimmons (Class 4)
& Mr Holt (Class 5)
Key Information 
Class 3 has PE on Tuesdays.
Class 4 and Class 5 have PE on Mondays and Thursdays. 
 
You can find further details of what your child is learning each week by looking at the half termly plans.
 
Children in Year 1 will take part in the statutory phonics screening check in the week commencing Monday 9th June 2025. For further information, please see the guidance for parents below. 
 
Please make sure you are sharing books with your child and that you are supporting them with their phonics and reading at home. We read every day in school so please make sure your child always has their book and reading record with them.

Multi-Skills
Year 1 and 2 enjoyed a Multi-Skills afternoon where they practised different sports including hockey, rugby, basketball and badminton.
